Fine Kiln

Exclusive sake and seasonal products unique to the brewery, as well as liqueurs made from fruits produced in Tobe Town, are available. Traditional sake-making tools and sake vessels from various kilns are also on display and for sale.

Tobe ware, which has a history dating back to the Asuka period, can be found in a select shop located in Torioka, where various kilns are lined up. From traditional items made with local clay to uniquely designed pieces from each kiln, Tobe ware is perfect for everyday use. The spacious interior, which makes extensive use of wood, features a wide selection of stylish dishes, including small plates, cups, and rice bowls from about ten distinctive Tobe ware kilns chosen by the owner. Among them, the adorable patterned children's dishes are highly recommended. Glass products and wooden cutlery are also for sale.

A facility where you can sell, introduce and experience the Tobe ware, which is attached to the Senzan kiln where the chimney of the climbing kiln is a landmark. It consists of stores, creative furniture workshops, cafes, climbing kilns, etc. that exhibit and sell about 100 of the works of the shōgen and items, and products are available from easy items such as only 630 yen ~ to Chiyama kiln works. There are also works by Shogen that are not sold directly in the workshop. At the factory at the back of the store, you can freely tour the state of pottery, and there is a painting workshop on the second floor and a clay workshop where you can experience hand-made ceramics.
