Ogi Park

The facility was built on the base of the town-dug "Tsunosato Onsen". It is characterized by a hot spring of 59 ° C, which springs from about 1700m underground, is cooled to about 42 ° C and constantly poured into the bathtub and overflowed. It is also said to be "beautiful hot water" that makes the skin smooth. There is also an open-air bath, and the footbath in the courtyard is free. Indoor pool and training room are also available.

Founded in 1899 (Meiji 32). A long-established shop that spread the name "Ogi Yokan." Carefully selected ingredients are used to produce various types of yokan and wagashi, utilizing traditional techniques. In particular, the "Ogi Yokan - Special Cut Yokan," finished using traditional methods, is a popular product that allows you to enjoy the crunchy texture of the sugar on the outside and the soft flavor inside at the same time. There are four varieties: Ogura, Honneri, Benineri, and Matcha, and the limited edition blue peas are also well-received. Be sure to visit the adjacent "Muraoka Sohonpo Yokan Museum," a retro building designated as a registered tangible cultural property of the country.

In early summer, "Hotaru no Sato," located along the clear stream of the Gion River where Genji fireflies flutter, is a popular direct sales store for agricultural products that won the Emperor's Cup at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' Agricultural Festival (Village Development Division) in 2009. It sells fresh agricultural products, flowers, various processed goods, sweets, and side dishes from producers centered around Ogi City.
