Xingxuan Farm

A stone-arched waterway bridge, one of the largest in Japan, formed in Kaei 7 (1854). It is a part of the water for tsumune water on the southern hills of Mount Aso-minami, and has been designated as a national treasure, with a bridge length of about 78m and a bridge height of about 21m. It is well known that water spews out of the water outlet in the center of the stone bridge in an arched shape. For the water release date and the viewing from the bridge (charge), it is necessary to confirm the official website of Tonjun Bridge. There is also the "Tongjun Bridge Miel Terrace", which has a goods building that accepts bridging viewing, and the "Tongjun Bridge Historical Museum", which introduces the structure of the bridge in three-dimensional models and footage.

九州中央山地を水源とする五ヶ瀬川。その五ヶ瀬川の上流部で、竿渡の滝から花上(桑野内)ダムまでの約10kmにわたって雄大な峡谷美を見せているのが「蘇陽峡」と呼ばれる渓谷。全国的にも珍しいU字渓谷で、約200mの高さの切り立った断崖と周囲の緑がつくり出す景観が素晴らしく、「九州のグランドキャニオン」とも呼ばれるほど。蘇陽峡展望台(長崎鼻展望台)からはこの渓谷が一望でき、秋にはモミジやケヤキが美しく紅葉し、大勢の人々で賑わう。見学は、蘇陽峡駐車場に車を停めて、徒歩5分ほどの散策を楽しみながら展望台へ。
