Seida Orchard (Ikoma Garden)

A tourist orchard where you can pick apples in the southern country, located in the Ikoma Kogen, Kobayashi, at the foot of the Ebino Plateau. It plants about 500 15 different apple trees on a 3.5, 000-square-meter plantation.

Located at an elevation of 550m on the northeastern foothills of Mount Kirishima, this 120,000 square meter highland is known as a flower viewing spot. From late April to mid-May, about 250,000 poppies bloom, and from early to mid-October, about 1 million cosmos fill the highland as far as the eye can see, attracting many tourists.

A flower spot spread across a highland at an elevation of about 540m, overlooking the Kirishima mountain range and the Kyushu mountain range. On the vast grounds of approximately 120,000 square meters, in spring, 400,000 blue nemophila and yellow poppies bloom, while in autumn, the colorful kochia and one million cosmos flowers adorn the landscape. The view from the observation deck is particularly stunning and highly recommended. At the "Flower Station Ikoma Kogen Shop," local specialties from Miyazaki are sold. The café terrace is popular for its carefully crafted coffee, soft serve ice cream made with Jersey milk, and hot dogs with black pork sausage from Miyazaki Prefecture. Events like the "Spring Festival" and "Flower Festa" are also held.
