Space Hill Park

If you go about 2km from the Kaminaka area in the direction of the Tanegashima Space Center, you will see a stop-by hot spring facility on your right. The spacious, bright large bathhouse is equipped with such things as an ultrasonic bath, a sleeping bath, and a far-infrared sauna. The hot springs are characterized by a slightly slouchy touch with a colorless and transparent simple hot spring. There is also a hot spring pool and a walking bath facility, which is familiar not only to the town but also to people and tourists outside the town.

種子島宇宙センターは、総面積約970万平方mにもおよぶ日本最大のロケット発射場。美しい海や木々に囲まれた環境から、世界一美しいロケット発射場ともいわれる。センター内には、宇宙科学技術館という展示施設があり、大スクリーンでの打上げ映像やロケットの部品に触れられるコーナーがある。また、センター内各所をバスで巡る施設案内ツアーが1日3便運行し、見学場所では未来技術遺産のH2ロケット7号機の1段機体及び2段機体を展示している。バスツアーは無料、事前予約制。
