Ramen Taishichi

Founded in 1963, one of the oldest gyoza shops in Utsunomiya. The second-generation owner personally grinds the meat and pours his passion into making gyoza in the workshop next door. The pork is from a brand pig in Nasu, and the vegetables are mixed with the meat without being squeezed to create the filling, which is wrapped in a thick, chewy skin. Enjoy the skilled technique and flavor to the fullest. The menu includes "Gyoza," which consists of 6 pieces, as well as "Gyoza Set S (6 pieces)," "Gyoza Set 1.5 (9 pieces)," and "Gyoza Set D (12 pieces)," along with pork cutlet lunch and tenderloin cutlet lunch. A member of the Utsunomiya Gyoza Association.

A restaurant that uses local ingredients and values seasonal flavors. Lunch starts at 1350 yen (includes salad, rice, and drink). The hamburger stew features domestic hamburgers in a porcini-scented stew, served hot. The Neapolitan pasta is also popular.

The restaurant is located in the agripal salt plain at the roadside station "Uyu no Kasashi Obara", where you can taste nostalgic local dishes made from local seasonal ingredients and freshly-baked soba noodles using "Nasu no Akisoba".
