Oden-Doken Noko

Izakaya Yokocho, full of Showa style, is located just a short distance from Himeji Station. "Oden to Kushikatsu Himeji no Shop" which offers Banshu's specialty Himeji Oden, Hine Pon, etc., "Charcoal-fired Yakitori Marusa House", a famous local Himeji restaurant, "Hyakensui", where you can enjoy fresh seafood with a beach grill, there are five restaurants, "Himeji Sake Kanashi Fish Sushi", where you can enjoy the Edomazushi casually, and "Himeji no Taiyori Rei", a full-scale stall that surpasses the headquarters, where you can enjoy local gourmet food.

At Dada, everything from cakes, lunches, to jams is homemade and handcrafted. The morning service starts at 700 yen, and lunch is available from 11 AM to 5 PM (starting at 1100 yen). Pudding made with fresh eggs is 250 yen, and classic Belgian waffles start at 1100 yen (13 varieties available). The shop has a calm interior furnished with antique furniture.

Fujihashi Shoten, which operates an egg farm, runs a specialty shop for tamago kake gohan (rice with raw egg). They carefully raise healthy parent chickens at their own farms located in the nature-rich areas of Himeji City, Yumizaki Town, and Kasahara Town, producing delicious eggs called "Yume Sodachi." They also select rice varieties that pair well with tamago kake gohan. The original tamakake soy sauce from the shop is irresistible. The classic "tamako kake meshi" allows for unlimited refills of eggs and rice, with many topping options available.
