Spring Festival

The "Dream Rato Illumination" is a winter event in Ikeda-cho, Miyoshi, which is being held as the "Light of Hope for the Future". 30 times in 2023, we will deliver the feeling of "gratitude" to everyone who has helped and helped us so far with illumination. The entire park is colored, including a main tree where music and light interlock, a production-type illumination that responds to voice, and a bamboo light that illuminates a gentle light. Illumination lighting ceremony was held on the first day of the event.

To coincide with the fair day of Kimbilla Daigyo, thank you for your good harvest and no sickness. It begins with a "kneading ceremony" in which about twenty monks procession to the main shrine at 12 o'clock, and recites the sutra of the grand-jana after the arrival of the main shrine. The "Fukumochi Throw", which is a prize, is held from 14:00, and barrel sake is served to worshippers. Only on this day (spring and autumn holidays), ordinary people can enter the main hall and participate in the main ceremony. * Contents may be changed or canceled depending on the situation.

As the Iya Heike Festival Month, various events will be held to convey the legend of the Heike Rakujin and the culture of Iya to the present day. The "17th Iya no Powbuki Festival No 1 in Japan" at the "Tōya-ya History and Folklore Museum" will be held on Sunday, the 27th, and local performing arts will also be shown and enlivened. The "Karakuri Fuma-e Performance", a masterpiece of a contraption of one after the other, which is prepared as a background painting for the stage, is performed at the back mountain rural stage, Tokusen Amida-do, and other events that cannot be missed.
