The Gotesan Mugiya Festival performing folk songs and dances at the Aikumita Gotesan. Every year on September 23, "Mugiya Odori", a Rin-Shiki Mai with a hakama figure on a white tusuki, a sword on his waist, and a hat in his hand, is dedicated at the precinct of a landowner shrine in Shimōashi, Taira. It is said that the sorrowful melody "Mugiya Festival" began when the fallen of Heike sang in memory of the city, it has become a national-choice intangible folk-cultural property as "Goitesan no Song and Dance" along with "Kokiriko Festival" and others dedicated at the "Kokiriko Festival" at the Hakusan Palace in Kaminashi.
