Sakura at Sakura Castle Ruins
The sale of food and drink is carried out. Sakura Castle was built by the later dairoo, Toshikatsu Doi, between Gyeongsang 16 (1611) and Genwa 3 (1617). In the Meiji period, the structures of the castle were dismantled, but the plateau to the west from the daiji gate is well preserved as a historical site of the city, with its earthworks and moats. The Sakura Tulip Festa will also be held at Sakura Hometown Square on Tuesday, April 1-Sunday, April 20. Image courtesy: (Public Corporation) Sakura City Tourism Association
