The 57th Okaya Flower Fire Festival

The trees of 240 species in the garden (50 trees and 190 herbaceous species), mainly maple, make you feel the autumn visit in various colors such as red, yellow and orange.

A special outdoor stage with a 60m frontage was created as the stage for the taiko drums, and performances centered on matching hits by the Okaya Taiko Preservation Society will be held. The great acoustics that seem to be sounding all over the city are exactly the heroics themselves, and it is a powerful festival full of spectators visiting from all over the country to see at first glance this power and splendor.

The "Okadani Fox Festival", which originated during the Kansei year about 200 years ago, is held around Ilf Plaza. In the past, from Inari Nagatsuka in Shinyashiki-ku, which is considered to be a male fox company, and from Sosha in Ofuku-Inari, Okaya-ku, a female fox company, a procession of a mounted bride and a groom, respectively, were about 2km along the way, eventually, a wedding ceremony was held at Otsuji on the central street of the downtown area. In 2024, in addition to events with the theme of "Kinkai" and "Love for the fulfillment", we will implement a project that will allow children to enjoy in the shopping district.
