Asahi-Oka Park, a venue that has also been selected as one of Japan's top 100 historical parks, is known as one of the three largest cherry blossom spots in Saga Prefecture. During the cherry blossom festival, it is crowded with many flower visitors and you can also enjoy lighting up the cherry blossoms at night.

The cherry blossoms are gregarious in the area around the pond which extends near the entrance gate and on the left side of the "Azalea Valley" under the cliffs of Mount Mifune. The light-up is based on the fantastic symmetry created by the water mirror of the flower and the pond, and the contrast with the cherry blossom garden that spreads at the base against the background of the rock surface of Mt. Cherry blossoms such as Yamazakura, Yoshino Yoshino, Oshima zakura and Yaezakura, 200,000 azaleas such as Mitsuba, Kurume and Hirado (Yodogawa), an estimated 170-year-old Oto near Hagino Ochaya, and a relay of flowers from early spring to early summer will be held.
