Saka Shrine and Matsubara Shrine Autumn Festival "Hime-san"

The "Saga Castle Hina Matsuri" is a Hina festival unique to Saga where the Hina dolls of the Nabeshima family and the Hina dolls of traditional crafts such as Nabeshima Kogon and Saga Jintao, and the Hina dolls made by Saga children are lined up at each venue in Saga Castle and the castle town. You can also enjoy traditional sweets from Saga and works of traditional crafts with roots in the Edo period. There are also places to see buildings from the Edo period to the early Showa period that make you want to take photos. The theme of the 25th (2025) is "Flower Tour". "Saga Light Fantasy", which is familiar to many people as the late autumn saga's wind poem, is the 36th in 2024. Plenty of illuminations make the whole city of Saga mockingly, including the fantastic spot electronery set up at various places on the central boulevard, and the street tree electronery along the street that warmly wraps around the walking people.

Asia's largest hot air balloon competition. In 2024, 115 teams from all over Japan will participate. The mass takeoff from the riverbed is a masterpiece. During the period, animals and popular characters appeared in a powerful giant balloon. At night moored on the 3rd (day, holiday) and the 4th (month, holiday) "La Mongolfier Noctune", you can see a fantastic balloon beautifully lit by the flame of a burner.
