Futagawa is the 33rd post town of the 53rd Tōkaidō on the outskirts of the city of Toyohashi. Even today, the town wari of the Edo period remains largely intact, and the remains of the main team are still extant. Set in a townscape that leaves a remnant view of the post town, a period-style picture scroll will be reproduced, modeled after the daimyō procession of Yoshida (current, Toyohashi) castle lord, Matsudaira Izumori Nobuaki. At the same time, events such as an experience corner planned by local junior high school students and a performance of Japanese drums are held to show the buzz.
