
Nido Festival
The largest floats festival in the northern part of Iwate Prefecture, held in the Fukuoka area of Ninohe City. The Sansha festival of Noka Inari Shrine, Atago Shrine, and Akiba Shrine. The appearance of eight gorgeous floats milling around the city area with a claggered voice, with the god-koshi at the head, is a wind poem that gives Nichoto a sense of autumn's visit. At the Norika Inari Shrine, which used to be the prayer office of the Morioka Domain, there is an unusual shape hex-kami-kami-kami, which is said to have been visited by the 34th feudal lord, Toshio Nambu, in 1763. Various events are held from the end of the Tokugawa period to the Meiji era, including a procession of the historical picture scroll "Mutsu no Tsuku" depicting the life of people.
