Tokin Cherry Blossom Festival

The theme of 2024 is "Illumination x Music". Titled "Gila Gila-WELCOME TO SMILE PARTY-", the nearly 3 million-ball illumination featuring a wide range of musical genres, from disco music to healing healing music to graceful classical classics. Furthermore, the interactive illumination spot where you can play is the original Tokyo German Village, and the production is also powered up. From the vantage point, the illuminated geographs are drawn with colorful light, and the spectacular visuals of the famous German musicians playing music are impressed. I am also heartened by the light and sound show held on the prairie, and the production of light and sound, such as the colorful rainbow tunnel.

During the cherry blossom light-up period, stage events and workshops are scheduled to be held on Saturday and Sunday during the opening of kitchen cars and during the period. At night, the bamboo lanterns will be lit up by the Abiko Cherry Blossom Festival Executive Committee along with the cherry blossoms, and you can enjoy cherry blossoms and bamboo lanterns that are different from the daytime. * It may be canceled or changed due to weather.

It is held at Shimizu Park from mid-March to early April every year. Many people come from outside the city and it is very busy. About 2000 cherry blossoms bloom all over the park. The scenery has been selected for the “100 Japanese Sakura Places” nationwide, which is a perfect view.
