Sakurabuchi Park is the southern entrance of Tenryu Oku Mikawa National Park, a prefectural nature park known as "Mikawa no Arashiyama". As the name implies, it is one of the premier scenic spots in the prefecture with "cherry blossoms" and "yubi", and about 2000 cherry blossoms bloom with Ranman in the spring on both banks of the clear stream of Toyokawa. When about 400 Yoshino cherry trees, blooming along the banks of the Yahagi River, are in full bloom, it will be a stunning row of cherry trees like a cherry blossom tunnel. The river surface is dyed pink from the opposite bank, and you can enjoy a bit of different beauty. You can also enjoy the fantastic night cherry blossoms lit up during the festival. About 420 Yoshino cherry trees have been planted in the Sakuhara Park, a cherry blossom spot in Kariya, which attracts a large number of flower visitors each year. During the Cherry Blossom Festival, the inside of the park is buzzing with the opening of a street stall and kitchen car and the atmosphere being lit. Fire not available in the park (except for day campgrounds).
