エメラルドグリーンの美しいビーチ、はての浜へのツアーを行っている。出発は9時30分・11時・13時30分の3回で(変更あり、詳細要問合せ)、所要は約3時間。そのほか、バナナボートやスキービスケット、マリンジェットなどのマリンスポーツも好評。ウェークボードやスキンダイビング、スリル満点のYOUチューブなどもできる。

久米島の東方の沖合に浮かぶ砂州。真っ白な砂浜が広がり、その美しさは東洋一とも称される。海水浴やシュノーケリングはもちろん、流木や貝殻などを探すのも楽しい。泊フィッシャリーナから船で約20分。各ホテルや渡船業者にて各種渡船プランあり3500円～(要予約)。基本的に日をさえぎる木々や建物などがなく、シーズンには簡単な日よけ(共用スペース)しかないので、飲み物や日焼け対策はしっかり準備して行こう。

飛行機の離発着が望める空港から最も近いビーチ。空港の滑走路付近から約2kmにわたって白砂が続き、東シナ海に沈む美しい夕日を眺めるスポットでもある。リーフに囲まれているため波が静かで、遠浅のビーチはスノーケルにも最適。久米島町指定のキャンプ場もあり、家族連れやアウトドアを楽しむ人にはピッタリだ。海の中には水が湧き出す場所があり、暑い夏の日にはここから流れ込む水がひんやりして気持ちいい。キャンプ場を使用する際は事前に申し込みが必要。用具類はすべて持ち込み。

東海岸にある島のメインビーチで、白い砂浜が2kmにわたって続く美しい浜。「日本の渚百選」にも選ばれている。リーフで囲まれているため波が穏やかで、家族連れにおすすめ。周辺にはリゾートホテルやレストランがあり、観光客で賑っている。トイレ完備。

沖縄の海を連想させる、泡盛の廃瓶を再利用した琉球ガラス工房。アクセサリーなどの製作体験も可。アクセサリー2500円～、キャンドルスタンド6000円、ランプシェード1万円～。製作体験は要予約。

クメジマボタルをはじめとする久米島の生物多様性に係る施設で、自然の大切さを学べる。クメジマボタルは平成5年(1993)に発見された久米島だけに生息するホタルで、県の天然記念物に指定され、平成29年度(2017)より国内希少野生動植物種に指定されている。「久米島ホタルの会」を中心としたイベントも多数行われている。

久米島の自然、歴史、民俗、文化をわかりやすく紹介する総合文化施設。「久米島の自然と文化」をテーマとし、「久米島の自然」「時代の移り変わり」「久米島の遺宝」「島の暮らし」について実物資料を用いて紹介する常設展示のほか、さまざまな企画展示も行っている。

An exhibition museum where you can get to know the history and work process of Kumejima, which is also said to be the birthplace of Japanese ponges (National Designated Important Intangible Cultural Properties, National Designated Traditional Crafts). The wood is dyed by using cotton-spun yarn taken from silkworms as raw material yarn, and by natural grass and mud dyeing. The weaving is all hand-woven, and its technique of weaving over time gives you a sense of beautiful patterns and depth of tradition. At a nearby joint workshop, several people work on making up ponges from time to time, so you can also tour the work of weaving and dyeing. You can experience the coaster weave 2200 yen or tie-dye 2400 yen (reservation required).

Sea turtles are a rare creature that is threatened with extinction worldwide. Here you can see live sea turtles up close. Large green sea turtles, loggerhead turtles, and hawksbill turtles swim in a large aquarium in the hall. There is also a shop with an extensive selection of original T-shirts and sea turtle goods, and a specimen display of shellfish that inhabits around Kume Island.

The castle (called Gusuku in Okinawa) was reportedly built in the early 15th century and is also designated as a National Designated Historic Site. The walls are characterized by skillful use of andesite and limestone. The restoration of the city walls has been carried out since 1999, and the appearance of the past is being restored. From the castle site, which is located on a hill facing the sea, it overlooks the East China Sea. It can be seen that Chinese ceramics were excavated and traded abroad.
