Yusuhara Mishima Shrine

A stately shrine standing along the Yusuhara River, a tributary of the Shimanto River. The whole area, which includes the towns of Yusuhara and Tsuno, is called Tsunoyama-go, and it is said that the founder Tsuno Keitaka invited the Mishima Daimyojin from Izu. The main shrine was rebuilt in 1803. The Jinyukibashi (Miyuki Bridge), which runs over the approach to the precinct, has a wooden roof and is the highest in the air.
