Nishikawa-ya

A long-established company founded in the first year of Genroku (1688). He has a history of serving as a confectioner of the Tosa Domain, and can receive confectionery that had been delivered to the feudal lord, such as "Genso Kempi". "Umeboshi [Umeboshi]" is a dish used by the Tosa clan, which is made by chopping the leaves of perilla pickled with plums and kneading them into fertilizer, and is a small and tasteful Japanese-style sweet. There are various sizes from 6 pieces (486 yen) to 60 pieces (4860 yen), and I am glad that you can choose just the right size.

Confectionery Ogasawara

The shop won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award and others for its idea-filled, creative Japanese confectionery. Yosakoi Whale 194 yen with fine coral powder is a healthy baked confection that contains one bottle of calcium in one piece of milk. It is a gem that melts the scent of blue glue and yuzu and butter. Karin Tomanju's Itagaki Stubborn Manju 124 yen is crisp on the outside, moist inside and irresistible with the flavor of brown sugar from Hataruma Island. The mochi-tochi-tochi-toku-bundan jelly, which contains 20% of bundan's fruit, is also delicious.

Tram of Tosaden Transportation

The Kochi streetcar was opened in Meiji 37 (1904), and is the oldest in Japan for active streetcars. The vehicles are international and can also be taken on trains that were actually running in Portugal and Norway (currently only on loan and during events). Although it has been modified, the appearance reflects the national character and is interesting. Colourful advertising As the train trains run, it is the chocolate-colored retro vehicle "Restorenno" which restored the vehicle at the time of its opening. It is mainly used for events and on-loan. If you visit Kochi, I would like to take a ride. If you go around Kochi city, you get a one-day ticket. A one-day city ticket costs 500 yen and can be purchased on a train.
