Shokakuin Temple (Mountain Temple)

Shingon sect Daiyama, which stands on the summit of the central part of the main island. It is a formal temple that is said to have been founded by Emperor Shōmu's Imperial Court during the Kamikame years (724-729). It is also the birthplace of one of the high priests who was born by Sanuki, and who also served as a millionaire in Kyoto and Tōji during the Heian period. The main island

Pingfengaura Kaiganji Temple

Daishido, located in the Okunoin, is the site of the birth house where Tamayori Gozen (Tamayori Gozen) is said to have given birth to Kukai, a master of Hiroho Daishi. It is also the first Shingon sect's main site, when Kukai was opened after Shushu from the country of Tang. It boasts a site area of 80,000 tsubo and is a rare temple with its precinct facing the sea. It is crowded with sea bathing and barbecue in summer. "Mandarazono", where you can enjoy the seasonal nature with flowers (hydrangeas, bamboo, cherry blossoms, hagi, etc.) collected from all over Japan, is also attractive. A large number of followers from all over the country gather at Homa, which is held from 10 o'clock on the 28th of each month. Doryu Temple

Taoling Park
