Wine Cellar

こぢんまりした造りながら、奥は深い。日常使いのワインからヴィンテージワイン、稀少ワインまで豊富な品揃えのショップ。品質管理には細心の注意を払い、「1000円でも2000円の、2000円でも4000円の味のするワインを揃えています。ワインを通じてお客さんとコミュニケーションできるのがうれしい」と吉本さん。そのこだわりは、地下水を利用したワインカーヴに凝縮されている。毎月1回、最終金曜18~22時はテイスティング会5000円~(ワインの種類によって変動)を開催。テーマを決めておすすめワイン5種類ほどを、パンやチーズとともに味わう。

Fish Center Hatori

黒潮の影響を受ける県南、紀伊水道から鳴門にかけての急流と、環境に恵まれた徳島の海にはとびきりおいしい魚が育つ。創業昭和36年(1961)以来、天然の地魚にこだわり、昔ながらの対面販売をしているのが、お魚センターはっとりだ。鳴門鯛、太刀魚、アジ、サヨリなどずらりと並んだ魚はすべて天然の地魚。刺身、煮付、味噌漬など約80種の自家製惣菜も人気。魚の調理・加工のコツはもちろん、おいしい食べ方や、魚の豆知識も教えてくれる。釣り好きの服部さんは、徳島の釣り情報にも詳しく、「新町川でスズキが釣れるんですよ」などのびっくりネタも。

Ikezoe Kamisan Store

徳島市民の台所・中洲市場に立つ老舗の蒲鉾店。プレーンなフィッシュカツ1枚97円のほか、一口サイズ、魚の形のものも。スダチや醤油、ソースをつけてそのままガブリ。お好み焼やサンドウィッチの具としても人気。

Okada Co., Ltd.

阿波おどり用品一式を製造・販売する専門店。浴衣や下駄、編み笠、鳴り物など、有名連御用達の品がずらりと並ぶ。手軽なハッピ、浴衣や土産用のミニ提灯などもある。店は有名連・蜂須賀連の事務局。スタッフにも踊り子が多いので、知識が豊富。阿波おどりの事なら何でも尋ねられる。

Come on, Tokushima.

Located on the first floor of the Awa Odori Kaikan, one of the largest physical production centers in Tokushima Prefecture; the Awa dialect, which means "aridayo" and "arisuryo"; and about 2000 items, ranging from sudachi to indigo dyeing and Awa Odori goods.

Petting Route

The petulant route, which takes about four hours to and from the base of the Ryokuni Bridge to Naruto, is attracting buzz, the same starting point for the gourd island cruise. It is a revival of the route used as a foot for Tokushima citizens from Meiji 25 to Showa 10 (1892 to 1935), and you can enjoy beautiful natural scenery and the ecology of water birds from the boat. There is also a private tour for 15,000 yen (consultation).

Gourd Island Cruise

Take a tour boat around the Nakasu "Gourd Island" surrounded by the Shinmachi River and the Sukein River. It's full of attractions, including beautiful blue-stone sea walls and pine trees from the feudal era, and a yacht harbor full of exoticism.

Awa Odori Hall

It is here that you can enjoy Awa Odori all year round. In the Awa Odori Hall on the second floor, there are four times every day (11 o'clock, 14 o'clock, 15 o'clock and 16 o'clock), and the exclusive stage (800 yen), where you can watch the dance. In addition, a performance (1000 yen) by the famous reng will be performed once at night from 20 o'clock. The Awa Odori Museum, which introduced the history of Awa Odori on the third floor (charge: 300 yen, time: 9 to 17 o'clock, temporary closed days, inquiry required), the first floor is a corner for sales of famous products, and the fifth floor is Meishan Ropeway Sanfoot Station.

古庄藍染處

The Aizome workshop, which has been in Tokushima since the end of the Edo period. The sixth master successfully dyed the silk, which had been cut off for many years, and received the commendation of the Ministry of Labor. Dyed four times a day, three to four days repeatedly, and you can see one end of the bright colors for the first time. Make a reservation in advance for the indigo dyeing experience (handkerchief 1000 yen, handkerchief large 1500 yen, towel 2500 yen, towel 2000 yen).

Tokushima City Tokushima Castle Museum

The museum is located on the site of the Tokushima Castle Goten in Tokushima Central Park, and mainly stores and displays art and crafts and historical materials about the Tokushima Domain and the feudal lord, the Hachisuka family. Valuable materials about the Tokushima clan's seafaring forces, including the oldest surviving Japanese ship, the Tokushima clan's seashen ship [Omeshi Kujirabune] (important cultural property), an elaborate restored model of the Tokushima castle palace and the life of the castle town are also on permanent display. Special exhibitions and planned exhibitions are held six times a year, including "The World of Hina Dolls" held in February to March every year. Encouraged visitors can also enter the adjacent National Designated Meishō, the former Tokushima Castle Omotemoten Garden.
