Tokushima Prefectural Torii Ryuzo Memorial Museum

Located in the Cultural Forest Park of Tokushima Prefecture, it publishes materials collected by Mr. Ryūzō Torii, a native of Tokushima who has significant achievements in anthropology, ethnology, and archaeology, as well as photographs taken, and artifacts. A survey map of East Asia and a full-scale restored model of the western half of the Dongling Central Room are also on display.

Tokushima Prefectural Museum of Modern Art

Located in the Cultural Forest Park of Tokushima Prefecture, it stores and exhibits paintings by Picasso and Klee, sculptures by Isamu Noguchi, prints by Mitsuo Ikeda and Warhol, and more; recap 1 hour.

Awagi figurines

About 100 works by Ningyōken [Ningyōken], a puppet master of the Awagi figurines, are on display. They provide humorous commentary on how to make a wooden doll, a contraption that changes facial expressions, and the mechanics of manipulating the doll. You can't miss the corner, which recreates the human frame of Ningyo Joruri. Take one hour.

Tokushima Prefectural Awa Juro Hyōbei Yashiki

Tokushima is one of the nation's leading Ningyo Joruri countries. In addition to performing the country-designated important intangible folk culture "Awa-ningata-jōruri" every day, there is also an exhibition room featuring features such as precious wood figurines (dolls), costumes and tools, and a shop handling indigo products and specialty products from Tokushima. It is the site of the Ajishoya and Bando Jūrohei-yashiki, which was the model for "Anjo-no-Naruto", and the "Tsurukame-no-Yado", a Japanese garden that remains from the Edo period, can also be seen. The performance time is 11 o'clock and 14 o'clock every day (10 o'clock, 11: 30, 13: 30 and 15 o'clock on August 11-16).

TOSHIMA ZOO STELLA PRESCHOOL ANIMAL KINGDOM

It boasts a site area of 150,000 sq m and raises about 400 animals of 80 species. The park consists of five areas, including temperate, tropical, savanna, and cold zones where the growing environment of animals is reproduced, and children's zoo where they interact with small animals such as sheep and guinea pigs. Meishan Park Observation Square

The spot where you can enjoy the most scale night view in Tokushima Town. The night view of the glittering urban area from an altitude of 290m is breathtaking. It's a short distance down the Meishan Ropeway and convenient access from the downtown area, so be sure to wrap up the evening of the town. In addition, pets are not allowed to ride the ropeway.

Meishan Park

Bizan is a gentle and graceful mountain that resembles the shape of an eyebrow. If you go up to the summit by the Bizan Ropeway, you can see the park as a park and the observation square, etc. You can see the city of Tokushima and the Yoshino River, and on a clear day, you can see the Oanumo Bridge and Awaji Island.

Tokushima Cultural Forest Comprehensive Park

A cultural park with a blend of nature and facilities, located in a green hilly area that overlooks the Nose River. On a site of about 40ha, the Tokushima Prefectural Library, the Tokushima Prefectural Museum, the Tokushima Prefectural Torii Ryuzo Memorial Museum, the Tokushima Prefectural Museum of Modern Art, the Tokushima Prefectural Archives, and the Tokushima Prefectural 21st Century Museum stand around the facility, with the Forest of Knowledge, the Forest of Creation, it is surrounded by a park rich in nature named the forest of the people of the prefecture. In addition to the promenade for walking, there is also a jabujabu pond, where children can play well in the forest of knowledge and children.

Jokuroku Temple

The ancient temple of the first year of Bai Feng (672) and the ancient temple. It owns many treasures, and the statue of Senganyon (important cultural property) is about 6 meters long (about 5m), which is the origin of the temple name. The precincts include the main hall (Important Cultural Property), the Kannin-do (Important Cultural Property), and the Sanmon (Important Cultural Property), and the Keizo (Important Cultural Property).
