Izutsu wine

Almost in the middle of Shinshu, a winery in Kikyogahara where a vineyard spreads while being watched by the ridgeline of the Japanese Alps. Humonge Tourist Garden

Furuta-cho Memorial Hall

In the hall where the house of his birthplace was renovated, about 90 items such as a letter by Yasunari Kawabata, who had a close friendship, and a hanging shaft by Osamu Dazai were exhibited. A room where Yuriko Miyamoto and others worked hard to write is preserved on the second floor. Take 30 minutes.

Shiojiri Tanka House

It is built in the Hirooka district, where Mizuho Ota [Ota Mizuho], Akahiko Shimaki [Akahiko Shimaki], and Makisui Wakayama [Wakayama Bokusui], who gave birth to a large tide of tanka in the Meiji era, were the setting for their creative activities. The building that was relocated and restored from the main building was registered Tangible Cultural Property. In the hall, there are letters and songbooks of the poets related to Shiojiri. It takes 40 minutes.

Shiojiri City Hirade Museum

The museum is located a five-minute walk from the Hirade ruins. We will introduce 20,000 excavated items and other items excavated at the Hirade site. In addition to the Jōmon period earthenware and clay figurines, and the Yayoi period copper dōtaku [dōtaku], there are also displays of Shiojiri folk materials. The five-fold tile tower of the Nara period, one of the largest in Japan, has a good view. There have been restored houses and high-bed warehouses around the area. It takes 50 minutes.

Shiojiri City Nature Museum

Located on the roadside station Kosakata Park site, the facility displays specimens and other objects, mainly insects from Japan and abroad. There are also materials related to nature and rare insects and plants. A museum where you can learn the right way of thinking and thinking about nature and learn about the global environment and the importance of nature.

Hirade Ruins Park

Remains (historic site) spread on the north side of the Heide Spring. Discovered by a survey from 1950 (1950), the pit-style dwellings were found to be the remains of a former large-scale settlement, with 106 houses from the middle Jōmon period and 160 from the Kōmun period to the Heian period. A 10-minute walk from the ruins is the Shiojiri City Hirade Museum. There is the Hirade Archaeological Park Guidance Building on the north side of the archaeological site park, where users can relax and learn, such as experience classes.

Shinshu Shiojiri Agricultural Park Tyrol Forest

In a garden full of nature, you can interact with animals and play with a lot of play equipment. In the experience class, you can also experience bread making and craft. We also recommend meals using self-made products (sausages, craft beer, soft ice cream).
