Forest Adventure Nagano

A nature-symbiotic outdoor park originated in France on the Iizuna Plateau, a 25-minute drive from the city center of Nagano. The biggest feature is athletic facilities with minimal environmental load and the use of trees in the forest intact. There is an "adventure course" that takes advantage of the height of the forest and the characteristics of the terrain, a "canopy course" that can be played by children with a height of 110cm, and a 150m "zip slide" that glides above the Oza Hosei Pond with Mt. The forest station is adjacent and you can enjoy BBQ after athletic.

Nagano Forest Village Athletic Field

A free athletic course located inside the "Nagano Forest Village", a nature-experience resort spread in the back of the Ōza Hosei Pond, Iizuna Kogen. Although it is free, there are 39 play equipment on the course of about 700m surrounded by larch, it is named after areas such as "Iizuna Sando", "The Road to Okusha", "Shingen no Tokdo", "Kotengu Hikiri no Jutsu", "Kotengu no Kido", and "Odaza no Floating Island". There are other water activities and campsites within the facility, where you can enjoy a variety of activities.

One Torii Garden

A natural park named for the location of the first torii of Togakushi Shrine. A variety of plants grow in the garden surrounded by red pine forest, with mountain azaleas, red-pinky, and black-fronted azaleas in spring, and purple-fronted, gentian, and red-fronted in autumn.

Mount Iinawa

It is a mountain with a calm appearance at an altitude of 1917m and is one of the five mountains of Hokushin. It has been known since the Nara period as the Ironawa Shugendō, a sacred place of mountain religion, and is also renowned as the birthplace of Ironawa Nōnō, which was found by Ito Moritsana during the Kamakura period. Near the summit, the Inawa Shrine is located, and there are many shrines [hokora] on the mountain trails. A 360-degree panoramic view of the summit opens up, and the other Hokushin Gotaks, such as Togakushi Ran Peak and Kurohime Mountain, are close to each other. There are three mountain trails: north, west and south mountain trails, but the south and west routes are common.

Oza Hosei Pond

A large pond in the center of the Iizuna Plateau. Long ago, it is said that the giant Daedara was sitting on Mount Iinawa, and when he took a step, the water accumulated in his footprint, which turned into a pond. There is a promenade that takes you around the pond, and you can turn around in 20 minutes. Leisure facilities such as campgrounds, boating grounds, field athletics, and tennis courts are scattered around the area, and you can enjoy a variety of sports and outdoor experiences.

Nakaoyama Onsen Matsusengaku

It is a hot spring inn famous for its unique open-air bath, which has been introduced on TV, and also accepts day bathing. An arranged shrine is set up on the border of a single-sex open-air bath, and when a string is pulled only on the female side, a partition opens to allow a conversation with the man on the other side. The hot spring that seems to be blessed with the edge, which has three pairs of couples who have scored goals in, has a beautiful skin effect and has a smooth skin.

Toyono Onsen apple hot water

A day-trip bathing facility that draws a hot spring of source-flowing water, surrounded by apple fields in Toyono. From the outdoor bath, you can see the large panorama of Kita-Shinano and the full starry sky. Chloride springs (weakly alkaline), which also have inner water and smooth skin, are said to be beautiful hot water. You can enjoy "apple bath" where apples float on the 5th, 15th and 25th of every month. There is also a multi-purpose hall, a restaurant, a lawn park, a space for children and children's play, and a directly selling shop for agricultural products.

Hanakyo Natural Hot Spring Inn

A three-story day hot spring facility that stands at the back of the Nagano Prefectural Office and facing the Susohana River. There are bathing facilities on the first floor, restaurants and free rest rooms on the second floor, and 11 guest rooms on the third floor. Blessed by the abundance of hot water, the brown source is used in the sink, both in the large bathhouse and in the large open-air bath built facing the valley. The hot water in the small tub is a self-sourced source brought from another place, and boasts two kinds of hot springs. Morning baths are also open daily.

Omuro Onsen Makiba no Uto

A day-spring facility that stands on high ground overlooking the city of Nagano. The two large baths are a weekly gender change. From Yufune, you can overlook the mountains of Zenkojidaira and the Northern Alps. The hot spring, which is rich in hot springs with 380 liters per minute, is also reputed as a beautiful woman. The far-infrared sauna is used by wearing a special T-shirt and pants or bathrobe.
