Built in 1904 (Meiji 37), it is the oldest surviving wooden wine brewery in Japan, and is also designated as "Yamanashi Prefecture Designated Tangible Cultural Property" and "Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Modernized Industrial Heritage". In the year of Reiwa 2 (2020), it was also registered as a constituent cultural property of "Japanese Heritage". It was opened with the "Old Miyazaki Daini Brewery" as a wine museum. In the early Meiji period, the museum displays historical materials and tools of Japanese wine, including the letters written by Masanori Takano, who first spread wine making in Katsunuma, and Ryūken Tsuchiya, as well as journals. It takes 20 minutes.
