A communal bathhouse of the symbolic presence of Yamanaka Onsen, which boasts a history of 1300 years of Kayuyu. A bathing house standing with a rare male and female outbuilding nationwide is at the center of the onsen town. The depth of the bathtub is as deep as 1m, and you can take a bath in the standing water.

Eight kinds of handmade dumplings cooked with koshihikari are crisp on the surface and mochi on the inside. Popular are the classic five-piece sets, which are made up of the taste of dumplings with modest sweetness.

Visitors from inside and outside the prefecture are looking for 120 yen per piece of beef croquettes. The croquettes made from Wagyu beef blend and Hokkaido baron potato are full volume. Atsuatsu is recommended in the eat-in corner.

It is a sake brewery that has been around since the Edo period, and is known for its sake lion village, which is carefully prepared with one grain of rice and one drop of water. The rice cake soft 400 yen, which retains the pale lingering of sake lees, is also a reputation.

You can tour the work of grinding or lacquer the wood of Yamanaka lacquerware, and you can also experience the experience of making your own bowl 3000 yen ~ (the work will be sent off at a later date).

加賀温泉郷の山中温泉にある、九谷焼を販売する陶器店で、九谷焼作家の個性ある作品から、ゆかたべさんアイスクリームや吸坂飴などの加賀みやげまで種類豊富。この店オリジナルの「九谷オーバル」は洋食器のような九谷焼の器、恋愛成就のお守りとして人気で医王寺の御印入りのお札付き「浴衣娘[ゆかたべ]さん人形」など、ユニークで素敵な九谷焼も。2階のシルクロ陶芸体験工房では、上絵付け体験やゆかたべさん人形体験などの手軽にできる体験から本格的な電動ろくろ体験まで、完全予約制でいろいろなコースを用意している。

山中温泉郊外の菅谷町は漆器職人が多く、ろくろの里とよばれるエリア。一角にある漆器製造販売店で、山中塗りの体験ができる。料金は体験料500円(税・送料別)。スプーン500円～、椀1500円～など、木地は各種選べる。箸から家具まで品揃え豊富なショールームを見るのも楽しい。

風雅な雰囲気が漂う総檜造りの橋。下から見上げる景色は絶好の撮影ポイントで、新緑に紅葉、雪景色と、四季折々に美しい。現在の橋は4代目になる。

下流に架かる石造の橋。鶴仙渓のスタートはここから。木々の間に見えるアーチが美しい。山中を訪れた芭蕉も一句詠んでいる。

緑の中で赤紫色がひときわ目を引く。その名の通りあやとりを思わせるS字のモダンなデザイン。夜のライトアップも見ごたえあり。
