Suzuki Makiyuki Memorial Hall

In the late Edo period, a memorial hall for Makiyuki Suzuki, who was born in Shiozawa. He is known for his "Hokuetsu Yuki", which details the folk, customs, legends, and industries of Yukikuni Echigo, and wrote at the recommendation of Tokurasha No. 9, "Akiyama Kōyō" spells rare customs and landscapes of the unexplored area of Akiyama-go in paintings and sentences. He also exhibited his meme, including haiken and his drawings. It takes 30 minutes.

Road Station Minami-Onuma Imaizumi Memorial Hall

The first floor is the Snow Country Exchange Hall and Tourism Information Corner, where you can enjoy sightseeing and local information of Snow Country, and there is a coffee corner, a rest space, and an area that can be used for exchanges and events that make use of the view. The second floor is an art station where you can enjoy a wide variety of fine arts, including works by Shiko Purikata, as well as overseas writers and Japanese writers, for a fee.

Yundong-an

It is an ancient temple of the Soto sect, and the main temple is designated as a Niigata Prefectural Cultural Property. During his childhood, when Uesugi Kagikatsu and Naoe Kanetsugu were called "Kiheiji" "Yoroku", he learned the basics of being a scholarship and a great general from the famous monks Kitakakazen (Hokko Zen Shuku) and Tsuten Zentatsu (Tsuten Sontatsu). Pebbles bearing the Hwa Sutra are buried under the cobblestones from Akamon to the main hall, and if they step on it and give a visit, they are reportedly placed in profits. The treasure hall also displays items related to the Uesugi family.

Makishiyama

At an altitude of 1967m, one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan. In summer, alpine plants such as nickpea and hakusankozakura bloom. There are three courses of climbing: well ridge, Nukubisawa, and Tengu ridge, and there are various rocks and mountain streams. The Nukbi Sawa course and Tenguyama course remain in the snow valley and snow bridge until mid-September, so I want to be careful because it is dangerous.

Hot water on the Mitamata communal bathhouse highway

Yuzawa-cho's day-trip hot spring facility, which stands in the Mitamata district facing National Route 17. The building is calm and calm as if it were to imagine the old Mitamatajuku. The large bathhouse is single-sex and has a clean style of stone. The outdoor bath, where the feel of the marsh is pleasant to the bare skin, is wrapped in a refreshing atmosphere while looking at the green of the mountain and you can enjoy bathing.

Kagura Ski Area

Ski area is also known for enjoying good quality snow and long season until late May. It consists of three areas: a Kagura area with a high altitude and a variety of courses, a Tashiro area with a gentle slope extending toward Lake Tashiro, and a Mitsuma area where the park coexists with a slope that is friendly to beginners. You can also go to Naeba Ski Area by using Dragondra. You can also enjoy the summer slopes (about 1100m) in the Mitsuma area.

Road Station

A roadside station that is close to Naeba Ski Area and Kagura/Mitsumata Ski Area, which is visited by many patrons, and is a gateway for sightseeing in Yuzawa-cho. Fresh produce, rice crackers and crafts from local writers are available in the property's goods corner. Classic Koshihikari and local sake of Echigo are also recommended for souvenirs. Due to its location with excellent access to outdoor activities, such as Mt. Naega and Mt. Tanikawa, there is also a large selection of outdoor goods such as climbing equipment. In the restaurant, the popular menu includes a set meal of modoni and a char siu bowl made with the rice-grown Ego Yone pork Ego. There is a water bath at the source of the water at one place and outdoors, so you can relax slowly. I want to spend time while enjoying a menu such as self-roasted organic coffee.
