Tenjinyama Castle Ruins

Close to the Iwamuro onsen town, at an altitude of 234.5m, the remains of Tenjinyama Castle, where Naoe Kanetsugu's younger brother, Oguni Miyori (Yohichi Miyori), last served as a castle lord, still remains. It takes 20 minutes on a mountain trail from Marukan Park and 40 minutes on a paved forest road to the entrance of the castle ruins. Mount Yahiko Ropeway

Yahikoyama skyline

Mount Yahiko has been revered as a sacred mountain since ancient times.
