The 4th and 5th floors are exhibition rooms, where you can learn about the history of reclamation, such as Ohishikui, Onibus, where Fukushima gata is the native land of the northern limit of Japan. It is full of attractions, including a 100-tatami-mat-laid large hall, a garden called the greatest masterpiece of the garden, and Sanrakutei, an equilateral-triangular teahouse and shōsai. Down the mountain, all land

Minato Land under the mountain is a park with huge play equipment, adjacent to the Minato Tower under the mountain. The "Sunset Hunter Captain", a sailing ship-type playground equipment that allows you to feel like a pirate, is a casual feeling because the sea is in front of you. The thrilling, long roller coaster is also popular with children. The target age of the "Sunset Hunter Captain" is 6 to 12 years old, but there are also play equipment for preschoolers and health play equipment for adults. On a sunny day, I also want to visit the observation deck of the neighboring "Minato Tower of the Mountain". You can overlook Niigata Port and the Sea of Japan.

Mount Kakuda

A mountain at an altitude of 481.7m, located on the Sea of Japan side of the Echigo Plain and the most northerly of the Yahiko Mountains, which is continuous from Mount Yahiko. There are seven climbing courses, including the Inashima [Tojima] course and the lighthouse course from the sea side, and the peak is 2 to 3km from each climbing entrance, about 1 to 2 hours. In the spring, the snow and katakuri bloom at the same time as the March thaw. Many climbers visit in autumn in search of the autumn leaves of the broadleaf trees, such as the oenara and the mizunara, which color the mountains, through the summer with a blooming foxtail razor. Due to the National Monument, permission from the prefectural governor is required for the collection of designated plants.
