Toshima Tofu Store

A tofu shop that continues from the Edo period. It sells tofu made from the famous waters of Hakone and the fine soybeans from Saga Prefecture. A cup of 230 yen in a cup of fetch tofu, with a melting mouthfeel and a rich soy flavor, can be eaten on the spot. The takeaway is 340 yen. In addition to this, it also sells 170 yen for silkiness tofu, 250 yen for sesame tofu (380 yen for takeaway), 110 yen for one cup of soy milk, and oil and so on.

Yamaya

A shop that has been set up since the late Edo period and has a history of more than 160 years. The shop has an orderly line of antiques, wood-carved statues, and parquet works. There are also many items of parquet muk, and there are also reasonable parquet works.

Yamada-ya

The lineup includes a variety of crafts such as sculptures and pottery, mainly based on the famous products and parquet work of Hakone. If you want to decorate memories of the trip, a photo frame 4320 yen ~ is recommended. The "Geta of Happiness" 1836 yen (with a table), which calls for a variety of happiness such as curbs and health, looks pretty and is well received by women.

Abeyasen Store

It was founded in the Edo period, and was the oldest store in Hakone, where he raised his apprenticeship as the father of Mokuzogan. It is the great-grandmother of the Kobayashi store owner who, on the order of Emperor Meiji, worships the nanny who gave her milk when Emperor Taishō was a member of the name of the Mingyō (Harumiya). It is a prayer for the office of the Higashiya, and a 2m-class wardrobe and a decorative shelf with an inlay that requires advanced technology that can only be used in this house in Japan, and no one can make it unless you become a disciple of this house. Moreover, only the shades of two kinds of trees of this mountain are used. An elephant shapes up, a fit fits in, that is, an inlay refers to something that is inserted and made up. Parquet is abundant, ranging from 550 to 378,000 yen, and Kokeshi is 10 to 756,000 yen.

Shiba store

"S. m. SHIBA" is written in the wall in front of the store. In the shop, period furnishings and ukiyo-e are orderly lined up. Some of them are ukiyo-e with a price of several hundred thousand yen, and it is good to look in with a sense of art. Original ukiyo-e from Edo to Meiji period 10,000 yen ~. If you are an affordable souvenir, there are also Chinese ceramics that are popular with women, European antique accessories 10,000 yen ~.

Asama Hiking

Asama Mountain at an elevation of 801.6m. There are several hiking trails, and you can easily climb from Miyanoshita Onsen. The trailhead is located on the grounds of Kumano Shrine. When you climb the slope and cross the tracks of the Hakone Tozan Railway, you enter a mountain path. The area around the course is home to wild birds such as the red-tailed misossae. I hear a fresh twitter. From the summit, which is about 30 minutes from Fujimi, you can see Mt. Fuji and Saganada. In mid-April, when the mountain cherry blossoms bloom, autumn leaves are especially good. The road is relatively easy to walk, but do not forget to prepare your feet because it is slippery. Two hours round trip.

Hotel Fujiya

A classic hotel that represents Japan, standing in Hakone and Miyanoshita. It was founded in the year 1878 (Meiji 11). In addition to six registered tangible cultural objects, including the main building of the Meiji 24 (1891) architecture, the Western Building and the Flower Palace, buildings with a rich sense of character from the Meiji era, such as the Forest Wing and the Cascade Wing, stand in the green. The major renovation work was completed in the year of Reiwa 2 (2020). Day-trip options include dining at three well-stocked restaurants, afternoon tea in the lounge leading from the quaint main house lobby, and a tour of the hotel museum. A nostalgic-looking shopping street with a souvenir shop, a photo theater, and an antique shop opened for foreign customers.

Himenoyu

It is a communal bathhouse in Ohiradai Onsen, which is often visited by locals. There is a marble circular bath in the bathhouse where the day flows through large windows, and there is also a rest room (available until 17 o'clock; use of bathing is 1300 yen) on the second floor.
