Cat House (Shonan Neko Museum)

Works based on cats, such as paintings, photographs, crafts, and picture books collected by the cat-loving master from around 25 years ago, are lined up. That's a surprise because it's 1500 points. They range from paintings by famous painters such as Ryuichi Yamashiro, Akio Watanabe, and Stanlan to photographs of young photographers who continue to take cats. The room at the back of the second floor is a book room with 1000 books. Cat goods such as writer goods are sold on the first floor. Marin, a white cat who came from Miyako Island in Okinawa in December 2017, is also popular because of her personable personality.

Kanagawa Museum of Modern Art Hayama

The third building of the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Art opened in 2003. We hold about four to five exhibitions a year. The exhibition room is designed to give a sense of nature, such as natural light and a window to see the sea. A garden with outdoor sculptures, an art library with art magazines and literature related to the exhibition, a museum shop, and a restaurant "Orange Blue" are available without an entrance fee.

Hayama Shiosai Park

The park used the site of the residence attached to the Hayama Imperial House. Inside the park surrounded by black pine trees, there are the Hayama Shiosai Museum, a Japanese garden, and a pond where the brocade carp swims. The museum displays marine life of Jun Sagami and a collection of items from Emperor Hirohito.

Hayama Sanke Okayama Green

Sankakayama, which can easily enjoy the "sea and mountain" that represents the charm of Hayama, is an "urban forest" designed to protect the habitats of plants and animals or their forest areas, and has a rich green nature. There are three hiking trails in the park, and the view from the observation deck and the summit square is excellent, and it has been selected as the "Hundred Views of Fujimi in Kanto".

Hayama's morning market

Every Sunday, between 8:30 and 10:30, the event takes place at the port of La Mare de Chaya at the back of La Mare de Chaya. As well as fish and shellfish such as zazae and dried horse mackerel, there are handmade dishes such as kenchin soup and ikra bowl. So popular that a queue can be made before the start.

Morito Daimyojin (Morito Shrine)

The shrine of Minamoto no Yoritomo, built on a cape on the south side of the Morito coast. Since ancient times, he has been known as the total guardian of Hayama, and he has a strong faith as the god of the evil and good relations, and the child treasure. There are many attractions in the precincts, such as old trees from Kashiwamaki and a monument to Dr. Belz, who introduced Hayama as a recreation area. It is also popular because of the beauty of "Morito no Yushō", which was selected as the "Kanagawa no Katsu Katsu 50", and the hope of Mount Fuji.

Nagatakasaki

It is an elongated cape that juts out at the border between Hayama and Yokosuka, and the area under the cliff is full of Araiso and sandy beaches. It offers sweeping views of the islands of Eno and Izu Oshima, and has a reputation for the beauty of the setting sun.
