Yokosuka Shobuen

In the vast garden of about 38,000 square meters, four seasons of flowers bloom throughout the year, such as Hanashoub, rhododendron, wisteria, weeping zakura, and daffodils. In particular, 412 varieties of Hanashoub and 140,000 plants are planted, and it blooms one after another from late May to early July and is really beautiful. In June, the Flower Shobu Festival is held.

Light Hill Park

Four artificial turf tennis courts with sand. They are also equipped with night game equipment. They may not be used due to flooding caused by heavy rain.

Falcona Mountain Park

Featuring a vertical, sheer rock resulting from the harvest of stone materials from the Meiji era to the early years of Showa, Mount Takakatori has an alternative name of "Shōnan Mengyi", which can be compared to Mount Mengyi in Gunma Prefecture. The view from the observation deck is also outstanding, and on a clear day you can enjoy a magnificent panorama from Mount Fuji to Izu, Hakone and the Boso Peninsula.

Kinugasayama Park

It is a nature park located on a hilly area adjacent to the Kinugasa Castle site of Miura, which used power during the Kamakura period, and almost in the center of Yokosuka City. It has also been selected for the "100 Sakura Places" nationwide, and it is filled with flower visitors between late March and early April.

Kanagawa Prefectural Tsukayama Park

The park boasts a view spread over a small mountain at an altitude of 133m. It has also been selected as the "Kanagawa's 50-year-old winner", and it is possible to see the Boso Peninsula as well as Yokohama and Yokosuka Port from Miharudai. It is also famous as a spot for cherry blossoms, and is crowded with large crowds during the flowering season. In Sonnai is the grave of William Adams (Miura Nōdō), an Englishman active as a diplomatic advisor to Tokugawa Ieyasu, and his wife.

Fuirido Transport Park

Fuiuto Park is a comprehensive sports ground with a site area of 16.3 hectares, including a certified track and field, a gymnasium, a heated swimming pool, a soft baseball field (two), tennis courts (to artificial turf from April 1, 2013, eight), an archery hall, a children's playground, etc. It has become a place for citizens to relax.

Miura Yasune Tomb

William Adams, who became a diplomatic advisor to Tokugawa Ieyasu, and a monument with his wife and woman. Anzu also excelled in nautical, astronomy, and shipbuilding techniques, and was given 250 stones by Itami Village, Miura District. Needle was said to have died in Hirado, Nagasaki in 1620, and a grave monument was erected on this ground by his will.

Taura Ume no Sato

The planting of 700 plums by local volunteers began in 1934 to commemorate the birth of Emperor Akihito. It is a famous spot with about 2000 plums in bloom, and has also been selected as the "100 best places for Kanagawa flowers". From the beginning of February to the beginning of March, with beautiful flowers and scents, it is crowded with plum visitors. There is also an athletic square and a lawn square where you can view the sea.

Takeyama

The azaleas, planted near the summit, bloom from mid-April to early May. Every year on January 28, "First Immovable" is held, and it is crowded with people who wish to be sick and die-free, as well as children with their specialty Fu sweets in their hands. From the observation deck at an altitude of 200m, you can overlook Tokyo Bay and Sagami Bay, and you can see Mount Fuji in good weather.
