Edogawa Matsudo Flower Line

A flower garden created on the riverbed of the Edogawa River by the cooperation of citizens and the government since 1995. Poppy blooms in spring and cosmos in autumn, and a flower festival is held according to the time of flowering.

Water and barn on the river bank of the Edo River

During the Edo period, the (Nama Kaido) fish, which had been shipped from Chōshi via the Tonegawa (Kinoshita), were piled onto a boat from the barn riverbank in Matsudo and brought to Edo; now the Tokyo Sky Tree can be seen over the river, and the silhouette is beautiful, especially at dusk.

Matsudo City Museum

An experiential museum, built within a 21st century forest and square. The basic concept is "look, touch, feel with the whole body", and the permanent exhibition will be able to follow 30,000 years of history from the Paleolithic and Jomon period to the birth of the housing complex. There are also experience classes such as making Jomon cloth.

Matsudo Civic Hall Planetarium Room

The planetarium said Naoko Yamazaki, an astronaut, also attended when he was a child. Every two months, the program is changed to convey the wonders and fun of celestial bodies. Projection start time 10:30 (with character commentary) and 15:30 (once 40 minutes) General Projection 13:30 and 14:30 (once 20 minutes) Kids & Junior Hour. In addition, they also conduct observation meetings with astronomical telescopes once a month on Saturday night.

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Construction Technology Exhibition Building

Exhibit facilities where you can learn about the basic knowledge of construction technology used in public works, the latest technology, and the attractive construction business as a job, for a wide range of people from children to adults, such as construction engineers of private enterprises and public offices. The mechanism of sediment disaster and the structure of the bridge can be learned in an easy-to-understand way by "looking", "touching" and "experiencing" from real objects, panels, and models. If you make an appointment, you can explain information about disaster recovery activities, tour of disaster preparedness vehicles, and also have a barrier-free experience with wheelchairs and white canes. In addition, it is planned to be renewed around the fall of the year of Reiwa 2 (2020).

Genromatsu Village

A display of folk art pumpkins with caricatures on pumpkins; and about 3000 items including living tools and farm tools from the Edo period to the 30 s of the Showa era are displayed at the Sendabori Folk Art Museum.

Eucalyptus Transportation Park

There are roads with lifelike traffic lights and road signs and level crossings, a park where you can learn traffic rules while actually driving on a go-kart or a bicycle. Infant courses and battery cars are popular for small children. The target is children of junior high school students and below, athletic shoes are required to use the goods, sandals are not allowed. On weekdays, bicycles and courses for go-karts will not be allowed to be used during the course of a kindergarten or nursery school or a road safety classroom for elementary school students. Vehicles such as the steam locomotive D51, fire engines and ambulances are also displayed in the park.

Matsudo Central Park

The archaic brick gates are from the former Army Engineering School period; cherry blossoms and autumn leaves are beautiful; and there are tennis courts with artificial turf (inquires are the Matsudo Sports Park Office [TEL]047-363-9241).

Plat Garden

A garden with seasonal plants surrounds the playland, which is packed with rubber floors. On a nice day, families with children and people who love the flowers gather.

East Matsudo Yui Flower Park

A park with about 200 types of plants, with all four seasons of flowers. There is a lawn square and a free rest area, "Magnolia House", which can be explored for a leisurely walk.
