Monument to astronaut Naoko Yamazaki

Naoko Yamazaki, who became the second Japanese female astronaut to board the space shuttle Discovery in April 2010 to participate in a mission to assemble the International Space Station. A memorial was erected in front of the Matsudo Civic Hall to commemorate its achievements. I hope the astronauts will be born, following Naoko Yamazaki from Matsudo City.

Wild chrysanthemum tomb literary monument

It is located in the precinct of Sairenji [Sairenji], a 15-minute walk from the Yagiri-no-Watari ferry yard. Sachio Ito's maiden novel, "The Tomb of the Wild Chrysanthemum", is a story of love drawn against the backdrop of the idyllic countryside of Yagiri Jikikata in the Meiji 30 s. It is said that Sachio liked to boat across the Edogawa River from Taishakuten in Shibamata, and to explore the countryside in the Yagiri district, so he took his feet many times. From the precincts on the hills, you can see the Edogawa, which also looks at Chio Sazato, and the view of Shibamata on the opposite bank.

Tojada House, Matsudo City Tojada Historical Hall

The residence of Tokugawa Akitake, the younger brother of the 15th Shōgun Tokugawa Yoshinobu and the last Mito feudal lord, lived during the Meiji period. The garden has been designated as a national designated Meishatsu on the National Important Cultural Property as a valuable Japanese-style upper house at the time. At the Matsudo-shi Tojada Historical Museum, which is attached to the two of them, items related to the Tojada residence, and materials related to the World Expo in Paris from the 3rd year of Gyeongsang (1867) can be seen.

The statue of the gongso wrestler (Nioh-son)

The statue of the gumgo wrestler at the ancient temple of Pingman-ji was designated as an important cultural treasure of the country, with the creation and transmission of Liuqing. At the opening of the book on January 1-3 (9-15 o'clock) and March and October 27-29 (9-16 o'clock), a prayer for a disaster-free disaster will be held.

Matsudo Shrine

It is reported that "machido" came to be called Matsudo because the priest of the priest, Nihon Taketoshi, had met with Takehiko Yoshitsuki and Taketoshi Ohan in and others in this area during the Tōsei. Mainland Temple Brahma Bell

The Brahma Bell of the Mainland Temple, known by the name of Hydrangea Temple, is the second oldest known Brahma bell in the prefecture (1278) as a known production date, and is designated as a national important cultural property.

Mainland Temple

A temple of the Nichiren sect, a famous temple known as the "Shiki no-ji", with 100 cherry blossoms, 5000 irises, 10,000 shiyōhana and as many as 1000 maomi coloring the precincts.

Toshinji Temple

Tōshyō-ji was initially reborn in Nekiuchi (1km northeast of this land) by the Civilization 13 (1481), 544 years before now, and by the Chōjō Fuchō-kōjin. It was moved to its current location during the astronomical year, about 60 years after this, and was named as one of the Kantō 18 Danbayashi in the early Edo period. You can touch the nature of the four seasons and feel the traditional Japanese beauty, such as the weeping cherry tree, the somei cherry tree, and the yambuki bloom in spring, and over 300 momiji leaves in autumn. In addition, a large number of attendees visit each year, including the Hanami Festival in late March, the Annoi Festival in April, and the period of autumn foliage in late November.

Tenshin Temple

A temple of the Jodo Shinshu Hongan-ji school (west) in Matsudo, Chiba. There are also regular legal talks and shakenkai where people listen to the stories of the Buddha, as well as the opening of the terakoya "Gagaku Classroom" and "Yoga Classroom" where anyone can participate. Many kinds of lotus flowers bloom in the Rojas garden in front of the Tenshin-ji temple, delighting many people.

Huajin Temple

A temple with more than 700 years of history. Benkokaten, one of the Matsudo Shichifukujin, is enshrined in the precinct. In addition, there is the Jizo Bodhisattva Hibuse Jizo, which is said to have the divine power to prevent fires, and is also famous as a temple for fire protection. Matsudo Shichifukujin's red seal and amulet are from January 1 to 7 (worship is allowed all year round).
