Yoyukan

渓流沿いに立っているので、眼下にせせらぎが、目前には対岸の木々が望める。1階にある縁に檜をめぐらした大浴場からの眺めがすばらしく、秋には温泉に浸かりながらの紅葉狩りが楽しめる。もう1つの岩風呂は地下にあり、脱衣所から直接階段でつながれているので、そのまま行き来ができて便利。含有成分が濃く、卓効ありと自慢する湯をじっくりと体験してみたい。

Mount Mitsumine and Mount Myohoke Hiking Course

起点となる三峰駐車場へは西武秩父駅からバスを利用。駐車場から三峰ビジターセンターの裏手の尾根伝いに妙法ヶ岳分岐へ。ここから妙法ヶ岳の奥宮に向かう道は本格的な登りで、最後に鎖や手すり付きの急な階段を登ると山頂の奥宮の祠が現れる。帰路は三峯神社に立ち寄り、遥拝殿の脇から江戸から大正まで使われた表参道をバス停大輪まで下る。途中にある落差10mの清浄の滝は三峯神社の信者が滝行を行う修行の場。春秋の新緑や紅葉は格別なハイキングが楽しめる。所要約3時間40分。

Three Peak Visitor Center

Exhibition facility to see the nature of Chichibu Tama Kai National Park. The plants and terrain of the four seasons are introduced using photographs, panels, and models. There is also a corner where you can hear the sounds of wild birds, as well as the animals and birds that live around the three peaks, such as black bears, sika deer, and black-tailed owl. It takes 20 minutes.

Roadside Station Otaki Onsen

The roadside station where the Otaki Historical and Folklore Museum and the dining hall, the produce direct-sale shop, and the day-trip onsen Yoyukan were gathered. At the direct sales office, seasonal vegetables, wild plants and other products like Yamasato are sold. The hot springs that spring from 1000m underground have a large content of active ingredients in Kantō, and the skin is reputed to be slippery.

Chichibu Palace Memorial Three Minesan Museum

The museum is located in the precincts of the old shrine, Sanshin Shrine, which is known for its "dog" faith. The museum is located on the left as soon as you pass through the rare Mitsu Torii, and displays on the history and culture of the Mihensan and Mihensan are seen with the themes of "Sanshō-san", "Sanshō-san's Treasures", and "Chichibu-gakuya and Sanshōsan". All of them are interesting, including the copper-plate painting horse and the suspended Buddha, which are the treasures of the Sanken Shrine, as well as the "Sansan Sanyo", which shows the state of worship of people during the Edo period, and the items related to the Chichibu Miyaya. It also stores two Japanese wolf fur, which has only eight cases in the world. It takes 20 minutes.

Chichibu City Otaki Historical and Folk Materials

It is located on the site of the roadside station Otaki Onsen and displays the life and history of the area in the Otaki area. In the Edo period, there are exhibits on the agriculture of Chichibu and Sankyo, which connected Kumagaya and Koshu, as well as the forest resources and the life of mountain villages. In the short film "Prospects for Tomorrow" (about 10 minutes), Otaki's present and old days are introduced. It takes 20 minutes.

Sanjama Shrine

An old shrine that sits in the mountains of Oku Chichibu. It is said to be the ritual of Nippon Taketoshi [Yamato Takeru no Mikoto], and is famous for the religion of a mountain dog (wolf), which is enshrined as a kindred [gokenzoku] (god's master). The name of the company, "Sankin", refers to Mount Yuntori, Mount Shiraiwa, and Mount Myōhōke in the east. The heavy shrine was built in Kansei 12 (1800). The main shrine behind it is Kasugazuki, built in the first year of Kanbun (1661), and enshrines Izanagi-son [Izanagi no Mikoto] and Izanami-son [Izanami no Mikoto]. In addition, through the ancient Seisando, through the Suijin Gate of the Late Edo Reconstruction, the adoration of the Oku-gimu, the Haru-no-Ui-do. The bronze statue on the left is a 5.5m high Nippon Taketoshi.

Mount Myōhoke

A mountain at an altitude of 1332m (1329m) in the Oku-Chichibu massif, a corner of Chichibu-Tamakai National Park. It is one of the peaks that together with Mount Shiraiwa and Mount Yuntori form the "Sanminesan", and has also been known as a place of training for Shugendo since ancient times. On the mountainside is the old shrine, the Sanchi Shrine, and its Okumiya is located on the summit. From the Sanshin Shrine to the stone shrine Okusha is a hiking trail of about 1 hour and 30 minutes each way, and from the summit you can see Mount Yunari and Mount Ryokin. Hiking during the new green season in spring and autumn foliage season is particularly recommended. The Sankai Festival will be held on May 3.

Mount Three

Mount Mitsumine is a famous mountain in Chichibu, where a hiking course was also developed due to the good view of the mountain with the Sanshin Shrine at the summit. The Omotesando course, which takes the path of worship used from Edo to Taisho, is a bus stop: about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Ohwa to the summit of the mountain. On the way there is a waterfall with a height of 10m, which is a training ground for followers of the Sanshin Shrine.
