Ma-gawa promenade

A promenade with a total length of about 400m maintained along the Ma-ga River, which runs through the center of the city. The street is lined with about 50 specialty shops. You can also enjoy summer Tanabata decorations and winter illuminations.

Gunma Prefectural Government Office

A 33-story building above ground just south of Maebashi Park. From the observation hall on the 32nd floor, you can see the amazing panorama of the mountains of Joshinetsu and the Kanto Plain, starting with the three mountains of Akagi, Haruna, and Mengyi. There is an observation restaurant on the 31st floor, and the night view is also stunning. Adjacent to them stand historic buildings such as the Showa Government Building (formerly the prefectural government main government building) and the Gunma Kaikan, which was constructed to commemorate the enthronement of Emperor Hirohito.

Linjiangkaku

A modern Japanese-style wooden structure consisting of a main building, an annex and a tea house designated as a national important cultural property. The main building, built in the style of Sukiya, was built as a guest house in 1884 (Meiji 17), where many of the imperial families, including the Emperor Meiji, stayed. The Shōin-style building annex was built in Meiji 43 (1910) as a courthouse of the Ifu-Jūshū-ken Union Kyōshinkai.

Maebashi Higashinomiya

Tōshō-gū at Maebashi, which enshrines Tokugawa Ieyasu as a festival deity. In the first year of Kanei (1624), the then Matsudaira feudal lord founded in Echizen Katsuyama (Fukui Prefecture). During the mid-Edo period, he entered Maebashi Castle, but was damaged by the great flood of the Tonegawa River and took up residence in Kawagoe. What was built at that time was relocated to its current location in 1871 (Meiji 4), in conjunction with the Matsudaira family's Maebashi Kiki Castle. It is known for various benefits such as opening and eradication, prayer for safety, car purification, and academic fulfillment.

Daju Sanze-ji Temple Longhai-in

Its official name is Daju Sanze-ji Teryong Kaiin. It is said that Shigetada Sakai, a vassal, was built at the order of Ieyasu Tokugawa. When Shigetada became the Maebashi feudal lord, he was moved to this land by Kawagoe and became the Bodaiji temple of the Sakai family. The precincts are lined with clan tombs from the first to the 15th. There are the main hall, which is said to have been erected by the 4th Tadayoshi, as well as the mountain gates and bell towers, the Bimei-dō and Zen-dō, and the Kaisan-dō, which leave the appearance of the former and the former.

Hirose River Green Park

The green space along the Hirose River, which stretches for about 1.2km from Yanabashi, located on the west side of National Route 17, to Kurumanbashi, near Jomo Electric Railway Chūomaebashi Station; the promenade has been maintained and there are psalms and literary monuments.

Garden of Suga

In the year of the Meiji 42 (1909), the then head of the village of Katsura-Kaya was landscaped as a private Ikeizumi-style garden, and was opened to the public from 1930 (Showa 5). Fuji has been transplanted from places such as Rinjigaku in Maebashi Park and Amano Garden in front of JR Maebashi Station, and some old trees are over 350 years old.

Maebashi Hot Springs Qua y Terme

It is located along Route 17, in the immediate vicinity of Maebashi Driving Training. From the large bathroom, the view of Mount Akagi is good. The bathhouse is upstairs with a sauna, a jacuzzi and many other bathtubs. Among them, the exercise bathtub is also suitable for exercise and diet for people with knee and back pain.

Natural hot spring Nanafuku no Udo Maebashi

A one-day hot spring facility in Maebashi City that boasts a variety of baths, such as an outdoor bath, a charcoal spring spring, and an electric bath with a 100% source flow. The rock bath (550 yen) and the Louryu attraction are also popular. There are also sofas and sleeping places where you can lie down.
