Sail Wind Museum

A privately-run museum operated by Saikaze Co., Ltd. The exhibition specialises in Japanese paintings from the Edo period, which were reproduced using their own printing technology, "Digital Optic Painting". Fine art books and picture scrolls, such as unique colors drawn on washi paper, are lined up, and can be seen up close under bright lighting. It is also attractive that you can actually touch. The unique exhibition style that allows you to see famous paintings scattered throughout the country in one place is unusual throughout the country, and adults and children can feel free to share with the traditional Japanese beauty.

Hachinohe City Museum

A history museum built in a corner of the country-designated historical site, "Nejō-jo". The permanent exhibition consists of four exhibition rooms. In each of the "archeology", "history" and "folk" exhibition rooms, you can learn about excavated items from the Jomon period to the Middle Ages, the state of the Hachinohe clan in the Edo period, the lives of people who lived in a harsh climate. Rensa Town

One of the oldest yokocho in Hachinohe, which appeared in the 1950 s. The name is attributed to the fact that the shops were lined up like chains on the side of a movie theater.

Minayamate Street Morning Market

Hachinohe Yokocho

Historic Site The Square of Nejo Castle

The excavated items, including 963 items of the National Important Cultural Property, are stored and displayed at the Hachinohe City Buried Cultural Property Center Korekawa Jōmon, located in a corner of the site.

Sanpachi Castle Park

Until the Edo period, the residence of Mr. Nanbu Hachinohe was located. It is now maintained as a public square. The park is located on a high ground, so you can see the city. You can also enjoy cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring and autumn leaves in autumn.
