Spring Kumamoto Castle Festival

It is held annually for the purpose of transmitting information on Kumamoto Castle, a special historic site, and the recovery situation from the Kumamoto earthquake. It is held around the Ninomaru stage, such as the "Taiko Kōkai" and the "Kōbudo Enbu-kai", where warlords from all over the country gather, and the "Kyūshū Gaku-kai", where the festivals of Kyushu gather. Mud-beating festival

Twelve children throw mud at Daijiji when Daijiji, who was chosen by the Omikuji, changes into a solid white garment, drinks alcohol at Daihei, and then goes to the Dosojin in the district, about 500m away. Ki festival designated as an intangible folk cultural property of Fukuoka Prefecture. Okadaya Hyakute Shrine

It is said that about 550 years ago, young people who were unable to hit the plague shot a bow and arrow and prayed for the evil demon (plague). Twelve archers (planned) shoot arrows one after another in the manner of the old-fashioned style, and pray for prosperity and peace. There are fortune-raising and mochi-maki.

Bayside illumination ~ Port of Light ~

Bayside Place Hakata, located a short distance from Tenjin and Hakata. The harbor and sea locations are more romantic. The bay area is gloriously colored, including lighting up of the palm trees on Bayside Street and the LEDs on the deck fence from the sea side.

Kurashiki Music Festival

The Kurashiki Music Festival, where the special area is set up every time and the unique music culture nurtured in various parts of Japan is invited to enjoy the citizens. This special feature area is "Chubu". In addition to holding performances of related artists and performing arts, the music festival will be enlivened with a variety of events, such as town-style concerts by citizens and public participation performances by amateur cultural groups.

The 33rd Oatsu Manba no Sato Tsubaki Festival

It takes place in the middle of Hoshiyama on the island, almost in the center of Gotsu city. With the aim of collecting camellias around the world, the variety has been planted to enjoy flowers for seven months, such as early blooming, middle blooming, and late blooming, and mini hiking trails among the flowers, health stairs, and so on. You can enjoy more than 100 kinds of camellia flowers during the period. There is a shuttle bus from the Gotsu Chamber of Commerce to the Manba no Sato Tsubaki Festival site. A mountain trail to the summit observation deck has been established since 2025. 10 to 14 o'clock on both days. * The event may be canceled depending on the situation.

Tsukigase Meikei plum festival

Tsukigase Umebayashi, who received the Meishō designation in 1922. A plum forest stretches across both banks across the Naobari River, and about 10,000 plum blossoms bloom. The plum festival is held from early February to late March. In addition, there is also a temporary bus service from JR Tsukigaseguchi on Saturday and Sunday from March 1 (Saturday) to Sunday 16 (Sunday).

Prince Shōtoku ceremony

He exalts the bequest of Prince Shotoku and prays for his fulfillment. There are many stalls in the precincts. On the first day, Higan Ngan, on the middle day, the Taishi Ngan, and on the day of the event, the Tsuma is burned from 14 o'clock. During the period, the Secret Buddha "The Statue of the Prince" (Treasure Hall) special public.

Higashi-kai

1,400 years ago, when Shitennoji was built by Shitennoji, it began to be built as a place (Shiyakuin) where a variety of medicinal herbs were planted and applied to people. Since the statue of King Aizen, who has a strong interest in the main ancestor, is enshrined, there are many young and old people who are called "Aizen-san" and seek good relations every day. We pray for the spirit of our ancestors, the new Buddha, and the Buddha, and perform the legal service.
