A spring festival recommended for adult women with the theme of flowers, fragrance and old-fashioned play. When the mountain village is dyed pink with more than 10,000 plum blossoms, the plum festival is held. There are plenty of events such as mochi throwing, lion dance, health walk, and umeboshi seed skipping competitions.

A festival held annually in Hirohashi Bairin. There are plenty of stamp rallies, hot tea porridge (100 yen) and Aozora-shi with fresh local specialties. Yuru Chara also appears. Hiking while watching about 5000 beautiful plums feels good. On the day of the plum festival, there is also a free shuttle bus from Shimoichi Exit Station to Umebayashi.

When the plum blossoms bloom, the plum festival is held at Ishiki Ginzan, where you can enjoy the opening of local products, stage events such as Ishiki Kagura, and the annual "plum seed skip competition".

A plum forest spread on the back mountain of Daigu-ji Temple. About 450 plums are planted, such as a shujuku, nanko, and weeping plums. Every year from mid-February to early March, the whole area is dyed light and white, and it has a faint sweet scent.

About 25 and 150 species of plums bloom one after another from the early-flowering double-flowered red crimson [yae kanko], the jade peony [gyokubo-tan] to the late-flowered bungo [bungo]. You can feel the early spring visit along with the Japanese lily and the rapeseed.

Baimirin, which is located in two locations, the Natural Culture Garden and the Japanese Garden, has about 680 plums in bloom, some 140 varieties, the overwhelming number of varieties among Keihanshin. "Kasugano [Kasugano]", which gives a single branch a red-white flower, and "Kureha weeping]", a representative variety of weeping plums, which is like pouring down from the heavens, can be observed. During the plum festival, in addition to the popular event "Osaka Ume no Team 2025" of the CHOYA collaboration, let's have a fun spring time of plum making, such as the Nagahama Bon Bai Exhibition and the tea ceremony at the Japanese Garden Tea Room, traditional performing arts and plum marche.
