Yankata Sumo

Enkata Sumo, which carries the formality of Edo Kanjin Sumo today, is designated as an intangible folk cultural treasure of the prefecture. Kanbun 13 (1673), which begins with the dedication of the sumo festival to the Nobumura Jinmori Kashima Yoshida Shrine. The 65th Hitachi Port Festival

Hitachi Port opened as a gateway to the sea of Hitachi City, as a once-a-year celebration of Hitachi Port, which is closely connected to the community, and as a mid-summer wind poem of Hitachi City, it is also popular from outside the city. At the land event (13 to 20 o'clock), about 100 street vendors, floats, etc. are issued. For the fireworks display (19:30 to 20:10 * scheduled), star mines will be raised.

Shimokan Gion Festival

Meiji Shinkoshi, which has a history since Meiji 28, the shrine god of the shrine of Haguro Shrine, the girl's god of Tamayihime, and the one that is carried out every year is the largest weight in Japan. There will also be a "Washoshii Carnival", where the Kamikoshi and the floats from outside the city will meet together. In the early morning of the last day, there is also a Kawatami who carries the Meiji Shinkoshi to the Gokyo River in the city.

2024 The Kuri Komata Mountain Festival

During the evening festival, children known as Wakanen will be shown, and there will be a lively parade, such as a night-time cruise of floats recreating scenes of history and stories. The main festival will have nine floats cruising around the district.

Niichi Ichigamura Hippashikawa "Festival of the River" Fireworks Festival

Competitive performance of Chinese fireworks and brilliant Japanese fireworks featuring color and explosive sound. A variety of fireworks such as the brilliant symphony of famous songs and fireworks "Creation Star Mine" and the most powerful Chinese fireworks. Not only the beauty of the fireworks, but also the powerful sound and flash can be enjoyed at the venue. In the daytime, there are plenty of fun events such as the Ikada down tournament and the chasping of the char.

Golden Huashan Longjin Festival, Dragon (Snake) Dance Votive Service

The dragon (snake) dance, which controls a dragon weighing 20m in length and weighing 100kg, is performed in a powerful way by a total of 50 people, as the Causeway, Taiko, and the dragon trumpet sound. The dragon, which is manipulated by the dragon, follows a ball of gold at one time as intense as a raging wave, and at one time, a loud cheer is raised from the crowd who filled the inside of the house with the power and jerk dancing like a creature, quietly like a calm. There is a temporary boat on Saturdays from Onagawa Port, and a regular boat on Sundays and public holidays (reservation required). There are temporary ships on Saturdays and regular ships on Sundays from Ayukawa Port (reservation required).

Mizawa Tanabata Festival

The gorgeous Tanabata decorations and lanterns produced by each store will be displayed on the main street (the central city area), which spans about 900m.

The 115th Onuma Lake Festival (Fireworks Festival)

It was the beginning of a local priest's service of water in 1906 (Meiji 39), and it is the 115th traditional festival in 2024. In the festival held on two days on July 27 (Sat) and 28 (Sun), events that can be enjoyed by children and adults, such as the memorial festival, the lighting flow, the fireworks festival, and the kids Yosakoi, JAZZ, and the brass band performance will be held.
