In a garden of about 8 hectares, 1.5 million irises of about 400 varieties, including Ise, Higo and Edo, compete one after another to be attracted by their beauty. In the Suigo Shiorai Ayame Garden, which is home to as many as one million species (irises), you can enjoy colorful flowers such as white, purple and yellow, and it is a wind poem that colors the early summer Suigo Shiorai. During the Ayame Festival, events such as "The Wedding Boat" and "Itakaibashi Performance", where brides are married in an old-fashioned rowing boat, and lighting up in the park are held. The "Rofune Tour", which is operated by the boatman by hand, can be boarded from the Sonunai Rofune station, and can listen to the sound of rowing and enjoy the fun of the water-town emotions in a relaxed manner while being blown by the river-style. The site of "100 Japanese Sakura Places", about 2000 Yoshino cherry trees, Omurazakura and others in Omura Park continue to bloom one after another from late March to mid-April. The country-designated natural monument Oomurazakura is a lovable flower with as many as 60 to 200 petals overlapping in mid-April. In late May and early June, about 300,000 Hanashoub bottles reach the mark.

Suwon Park is a park with a view of Suigo, and the view of the four seasons attracts visitors to nature. About 100 kinds of 14,000 irises will be seen from late May to mid-June. In addition to various events being held on Saturday and Sunday during the Iris Festival, the Iris Festival is also held at Horikiri Iris Garden during the same period, and a circumnavigation bus connecting both venues is also operated.
