Taikanya Inari Shrine Spring Festival

A grand festival in the spring to pray for a good harvest and a thriving business. At ten o'clock, the main shrine festival is held. Following Miyaji's congratulation, a prayer festival is held for attendees, and a dance of Yukyu by the priestess is dedicated. After the gold-minted event, all the attendees will be paid for a prayer. The shrine, which is listed among the five major inari in Japan and where rice is written as "nari", is unusual, with the intention of fulfillment of aspiration. In particular, "Senbon Torii", which continues like a vermilion tunnel, is gaining popularity. Image courtesy Shimane Tourism Federation

Izumo Taisha regular festival

On the 14th, the festival was solemnly executed under the participation of Emperor Akihito's servant "Imperial Household", and the festival was followed by the festival, which was followed by the Hōryōma Shrine and the Tanue Mai Tenjo. On the 15th, the Ninomatsuri was held, and on the 16th, the Sanomatsuri was held, and the three days were called the "Izumo Taisha Great Festival", and there were various events of the buzz, making it the most lively festival of the year.

Aoi Festival

It is one of the three major festivals in Kyoto, alongside the Gion Festival and the period festival, and is the regular festival of Shimogamo Shrine and Kamigamo Shrine. A total of more than 500 people, all dressed in the costumes of the Heian nobility, mash all the way to the Kamigamo Shrine in a graceful classical procession of the Heian dynasty. Go to Kyoto Gyoen (departure at about 10:30) to Shimogamo Shrine (arrival at about 11:40, departure at about 14:20) to Kamigamo Shrine (arrival at about 15:30). The procession decorated with Aoi leaves is very ornate.

Wind day prayer festival

A festival where the Great Shrine (Inner Shrine) and the Great Shrine of the Toyoki (Outer Palace) are dedicated to the following Great Palace, praying that the weather is fine and there are no disasters of the wind and rain again this year, and that the harvest of the five grains is rich. The Sanjō Festival (The Sanjō Hachiman Palace Spring Day Festival)

In 1822, the Meiji procession began when the Murakami feudal lord, Nobuatsu Naito, celebrated becoming Kyoto Shojidai. The Daimyō procession of 100,000 stones is going on the main street in the city. "Maigome [Maikomi]", in which parents take their children on their shoulders and pray for the child's disease-free disaster, is one of the features in the Yawatomiya precinct.

Day of the Day

It is a festival that prays for the rejuvenation of God prior to the Aoi Festival at the Michi Shrine, which enshrines the rough soul of the god of Shimogamo Shrine. By welcoming your soul to Shimogamo Shrine, God can rejuvenate. The Kirishiba Shinto ritual, which takes place in the forest of the city, seems to see a wide emaki, with dances such as the brilliant Tōyu being dedicated. * Reduction in case of rainy weather.

The Hua Thousand Subcommittee

A large number of monks from all parts of the country recite one thousand times without omitting the Hoha Sutra (eight volumes and twenty-eight items), so it is also commonly referred to as "Osenbe". The "Senkoku" at Myohoji Temple was established as an annual event around 1767, and "Senbe" was created in each town in Edo, and during each of these courses, a grand hokai is run. Since then, over 200 years, "Osenbe" has reached the modern era while inheriting the festive aspect of the Edo common people.

Mount Yufudake

A safety prayer festival for climbers will be held at Yufu-dake, located on the border between Yufu and Beppu.

Hojo Kashima Festival

Off Kashima, a large-length rope about 30cm in diameter and about 45m in length over a couple rock. From 8:00 to 11:00 on May 4 (Sunday and holiday), the main line was created (free to participate), and from 13:30 on Sunday, May 11, the main line was replaced (there is a carrier that can be visited from the sea, paid). I pray for the maritime safety of the Seinada and the good harvest of the five, and the great fishing.
