"2025 Fukiage Hamasuna Festival," an event representing Golden Week, will be held at "Machinaka" around Minami-Satsuma City Hall Civic Exchange Square. The sand statue theme of 2025 is "Suna Sanpo ~ Welcome! To the land of fairy tales ~". Not only children, but also the world of children's stories that still fascinate them. Such a view of the world is reproduced with a beautiful sand sculpture, providing nostalgia and touching experience to the visiting people. While taking a walk in "Machinaka", you can also enjoy events such as specialty products, kitchen cars, and gourmet. At night, the sand statue lights up and fireworks are launched, and you can enjoy a fantastic atmosphere different from that during the day.

子どもの成長を願って開催。日本のアンデルセンといわれた郷土の口演童話家、久留島武彦を記念した祭り。ジャンボこいのぼりのくぐり抜けや昔の遊び体験、おとぎ劇場など多種多彩なイベントが繰り広げられる。

長崎県最大級の「やきもの」のイベント。9～17時。大型テント内に窯元・商社が出店する。求めやすい価格の波佐見焼が並び好みの器を見つけることができる。大型テント内のため、雨天時でも安心。

植木類の展示即売会。古くからの植木の産地・古賀地区の恒例行事で、多くの愛好家らで賑わう。庭木、花卉類、盆栽などが市価よりも安く売り出される。屋内で高級盆栽展を開催。

小さな山の谷合にある周囲1km四方の小さな集落三川内皿山。毎年5月1日の陶祖神社での神事、および”はまぜん”供養から始まる5日間の窯元めぐりのお祭り。修復された古い窯跡で茶香炉展を開催。小さなやきものの町の風景をゆっくりのんびり散策できる。

特産の紙「不織布」を使って思い思いに彩色した紙のこいのぼりが、清流仁淀川（平成24～30年度全国1級河川水質ランキング第1位）の川面を泳ぐ。平成7年（1995）から始まったイベントも年々盛り上がりを見せ、平成12年（2000）には「第4回ふるさとイベント大賞自治大臣表彰」を受賞した。混雑が予想されるため、できるだけ公共の交通機関を利用のこと。
