Also known as the Flower Festival; one of the few spring festivals in Wakayama Prefecture; the "yatsuhachi" and "jōko no mai" are dedicated to the shrine, and a procession headed by a mao with a mindless artificial flower is kneaded down to the inn.

The Spring Festival is held at Jinmae from 10 o'clock, and the former Ise Kagura by local children is dedicated at Kagura-den from 14 o'clock.

The Iiyama Castle site, built by Uesugi Kenshin, is a famous spot of cherry blossoms known as Kitashinano Suichi. About 400 Yoshino cherry trees cover the entire castle mountain in pink. From the castle ruins, you can see the majestic flow of the Chikuma River and the mountain line of Shiga Park, which is filled with residual snow.

江戸時代初期の貞享4年(1687)、修行をしつつ定に入り、生きながらミイラ(即身仏)となった。日本では20体ほどしかないミイラの一つ。名前を行順といい、禅宗系、富士講の信仰をもつ行者である。禅宗系では日本で唯一といわれるミイラであり、その開帳が行われる。
