The "Kibi Kogen City-san-san Festival" will be held in Kibi Chuo-cho, a city full of nature where you can fully enjoy the charm of a town full of nature. ソメイヨシノを中心に約400本。そのなかには、関西の桜前線の基準となる標準木もある。見ごろは3月下旬頃～4月上旬。夜桜のライトアップが行われる。

歴史ある船上山に春の訪れを告げるのが、船上山さくら祭り。祭り当日はダンスやバンドなどのステージイベントやさまざまなグルメやゲームなどを楽しめる露店も多数出店。子どもたちも楽しめるビンゴや遊具も用意している。

On Sunday, April 20, starting at 11:00, the event will be performed after the Shinto ritual, as well as the Izumo-feng-ryū flower dance (prefecture-registered intangible folk culture). Dancers dressed in flower shades, garments, dried water, and white tabi, decorated with the flowers of the four seasons, dance to songs and whistles while beating small drums with their bunches, and pray for a disease-free disaster and rain begging. 平安時代から1000年の伝統をもつ神幸祭。10時～。昼頃、神輿6基が桂川を舟で渡る。西京区の本社から右京区と下京区の御旅所まで巡幸される。※状況により内容が変更や中止になる場合あり。
