Kumano Nachi Taisha Sakura Flower Festival

It is held at Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine where Yamazakura blooms. We offer cherry blossoms to God in front of the shrine and play kagura. An ancient-style Yuma festival in memory of the story of the emperor Hanayama (Kazanhoou) who, when he practiced near Nachi Falls, channelled the beauty of cherry blossoms into waka. Mountain King Festival

Mountain King Festival

"Sanno-san" is a common name for Hiyoshi Shrine, which is revered and familiar with by the residents of the district. With more than 800 years of life, this festival of the palace is closely connected to the lives of the common people, and the events of the young boy archer, such as the ryū horse, the dynamic demon drum dance, and the falling feather are dedicated.

Ebino Plateau Mountain Open

Praying for the safety of the Kirishima Renzan Ebino plateau ahead of the start of the summer mountain season (there are no plans to hold the trek).

Yamaga Onsen Festival

Yamaga Onsen, which has been known as a hot spring town since the Heian period and has a history of more than 1000 years. A festival held in gratitude for its grace. The dance of Yuyu is performed, and the old-fashioned Miyuki ceremony is milled around the town. In addition, there are plans to open about 100 stores including stage events and kitchen cars.

Hirado Castle Sakura Festival

You can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night with the light-up of about 700 Yoshino cherry trees at Hirado Castle and Kameoka Shrine. On Saturday, April 5, 12, the night opening of the Hirado Castle and the rental of lanterns for the town walk will also be held.

Hanoura Iwawaki Park Cherry Blossom Festival

The Iwawaki Park, which extends north from the embankment of the Naga River, is a beautiful 400m long cherry blossom tunnel, and the adjacent Hananoura Sakura Tsuzumi Park is also planted with many cherry blossoms. There is a pond in the center where the cycle boat floats, and you can also enjoy the cherry blossoms reflected on the water. A short climb up the mountain bordering the northern part of Cherry Blossom Baba will find Xiangfai Park, where you can enjoy the cherry blossoms overlooking from the top of the mountain. Stage events and other events are scheduled to be held on Sunday, April 6.
