The Usugi stone Buddha (Umaki Buddha), which has 60 groups of four groups, is said to have been carved from the late Heian period to the Kamakura period, and as Japan's leading Umaki Buddha, it is the only national treasure designated. The ancient stone buddha, in particular, constitutes a magnificent mandaras centered on Dainichi Nyorai, a splendid piece of face-down and neatly-faced, reminiscent of wood carving. The Usuki Stone Buddha has been known as a place of faith since ancient times, and it is said that there are various benefits such as academic fulfillment and marriage, and it is possible to write wishes on the prayer paper provided in front of the ancient stone Buddha and post them in the prayer box.

On the slope of the middle of the hill, a shallow [gon] is built, consisting of three large and small statue of Nyorai. It is made in a different technique from the old garden stone buddha, and has rough flea marks on the surface, but is popular with the innocent children's face.

Usuki stone Buddhas are scattered in the hills of a mountain village on the outskirts of Usuki City. There are four groups of 61 stone Buddhas (maku-butsu) carved into tuff rock walls during the Heian-Kamakura period, including the Sannoyama Stone Buddha and the Hokishiki Buddha First Group (Dogasako Stone Buddha), all of which were designated as national treasures. The ancient stone buddha group, which represents the Usuki stone buddha, is also referred to as the Three Buddha of the Old Garden, and consists of a total of thirteen bodies, including the statue of the Bodhisattva and the statue of the Ming king, making up a magnificent mandala. The quality and number are overwhelming, such as the second group of Hokiishi Buddha, whose heart is at ease with a rounded and meek expression.
