Ryoko Kawara-za

明治6年(1873)創業の酒蔵で、九州を代表する清酒・西の関の醸造元。蔵の大部分は大正時代初めの酒蔵建築を今に残し、煙突とともに国の登録有形文化財に指定されている。併設されているギャラリーでは試飲、買い物もできる。ギャラリーと同じ名前の東西はここだけでしか買えない(720ミリリットル2050円)。

Roadside station Kunimi stands at a nice view point along National Route 213, which runs on the coastline at the tip of the Kunitachi Peninsula, close to Hime-jima, known for its fox dance, and beyond the sea, with a sweeping view of Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is located at the entrance of the Kaihin Park, which has a soccer field, and is adjacent to the Ongenzaki Furusato Nature Park and the Kunimi Auto Campground. The direct sales office is lined with fresh vegetables and melons, fruits such as Wenzhou mandarin oranges, and local specialties such as seafood. I would like to taste "Takomeshi Zen" at "Restaurant Mihama" in the station. Taka komeshi-zen, which uses octopus from the constricted national peninsula, is a specialty dish that is steeped in the taste of local octopus.

The Kunisaki Museum in "Roadside Station Kunisaki". There is also a tempura made from a product, a princess dako, and a kamaboko made from a piece of fish, and a lot of sake and shochu from Kunitō. Besides that, there is also a popular spot for Shichijima, which is unique to Kunitō, Japan's only land of Shichijima grass.
