A shaved ice shop located halfway between Kumano Hayatama Taisha and Kamikura Shrine. The shop is renowned nationwide for its carefully crafted pure ice, frozen from natural spring water over 72 hours, shaved on-site. Cup servings start at 250 yen. Matcha milk with red beans in a glass bowl is 700 yen, and jabara red beans is 800 yen.

This shop is located in front of Kumano Hayatama Taisha, one of the Kumano Sanzan, and is part of the World Heritage Site "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range." It features a Japanese-style building made abundantly with Kumano wood, finished with diatomaceous earth, creating an environmentally friendly and serene atmosphere that emphasizes natural materials. The dishes use local ingredients that are grown without pesticides during the cultivation period, the elusive Kishu Iwakiyoshi pork, carefully selected organic rice, and local vinegar and soy sauce. Enjoy fragrant coffee and delicious meals made with a focus on nature in a relaxed setting.
